FBA Snapshot: Life, Learning and Leadership
At First Baptist Academy we can say with confidence and integrity that we are committed to providing a rigorous, academic program of studies designed to challenge and prepare our students to serve in the Kingdom of God.
As you visit each school page on our website, you will see a continuum of learning built solidly on foundational, biblical truth from PreKindergarten through High School.
Students are trained by highly qualified and gifted teachers to develop a personal biblical worldview that will enable them to think biblically and critically as they encounter new information and face life experiences.
Training for leadership in the Kingdom is a life-long process of equipping the total child which begins with a transformed mind and heart (Romans 12:1, 2). It is our prayer that FBA students be thoroughly equipped unto every good work.
At First Baptist Academy, we are a family. We strive daily to create an atmosphere of love, encouragement and self-discipline that provides a fertile environment for children of all ages to grow academically, spiritually, socially and physically. We focus on right relationships to God, self, others and His creation in our preparation of the next generation to lead the Kingdom of God.
First Baptist Academy is a ministry of First Baptist Church Naples. As a ministry of FBCN, we are blessed to share the 94-acre campus God has provided in Naples, Florida and are also privileged to be a part of the church's mission of "making Christ known, in Southwest Florida and beyond."
Our Mission at First Baptist Academy is to:
Develop students with Christian character and a biblical worldview, equipping them for life, learning and leadership.
Life - encourage every student to have a personal relationship with Christ evidenced by a life surrendered to the will of God, directed by His word and inspired by the Holy Spirit
Learning - understand that all truth is God's Truth as revealed in His inspired, inerrant Word and His creation.
Leadership - focus on the demonstration of servant leadership as modeled by Jesus Christ.
Our core values are central to the accomplishment of our mission. They are:
Church - we are blessed to be a ministry of a local church and are deeply committed to training the next generation to understand and support God's program for our day and time.
Family - FBA is deeply committed to coming alongside families to provide support, resources and encouragement in a day in which many aspects of our culture are anti-family.
Kingdom Education - First Baptist Academy is also a Kingdom Education school. As such, we are dedicated to the "life-long Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child to Christ, building a child up in Christ and equipping a child to serve Christ."
