High School Student Studying Academics
Students in Science Lab

Our faculty operates under the assumption that every student will graduate from FBA and attend college.

The process of preparing a student for success at the college level begins in the preschool.  We are committed to excellence at every level of our PreK 3-12 grades.  Our faculty operates under the assumption that every student will graduate from FBA and attend college.  As a private, college preparatory Christian school we offer high school honors level and advanced placement courses with opportunities for dual enrollment.  Grades PreK 3-12 are fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Our high school has enjoyed tremendous success and growth since its establishment in 2008.  100% of FBA high school graduates who have applied have been accepted to college and the National Student Clearinghouse has recently reported 100% have also returned for a second year.  Our graduates have been accepted to a variety of public and private institutions and report they are well prepared.

Our guidance department is dedicated to providing individualized training and resources to every high school student for not only the insurance of meeting graduation requirements, but acceptance into top ranking colleges.

"As a parent, knowing that my child is being challenged educationally while being taught the Christian values we teach at home is such a blessing."

First Baptist Academy is a college preparatory school.  The academic classes, at all levels, are designed to provide each student with the content and mental challenge needed for consistent academic growth.

Nationally recognized achievement tests are administered to our students annually as well as periodic assessment of each students school ability index.  This information provides the school with an accurate picture of where each student is academically and also provides a template for the current school year.  The results from these tests are reviewed and analyzed by faculty and administration to insure academic progress.

The faculty also, by department, annually completes a State of the Subject report.  This report looks at the major subject areas (Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies , and Bible as well as Related Arts) and identifies the progress, needs and goals for that subject for the current school year.  FBA is committed to consistent improvement in all areas of academics on an annual basis.
