FBA students learn of American Veterans’ sacrifice
First Baptist Academy students will participate in a school wide assembly that honors our American Veterans. On Friday, November 9th from 2:15-3:00 pm every level of the school will have some role in the assembly as a way of honoring our country’s veterans. Elementary students will lead in singing the national anthem. Middle School students will recite and narrate famous patriotic poetry and literature. High School Drumline will perform a patriotic cadence. A special message from Middle School Principal, John McGuilicuddy, will focus on the sacrifices of our American Veterans allowing students to learn that our freedom has not been earned without a price. A flag folding ceremony will conclude the assembly. |
