FBA Athletic Statement of Purpose

The FBA Athletic Department’s purpose is to use athletics as a platform for Christ and to develop our student-athletes to have strong Christian-character and a biblical worldview.  We seek individual and team excellence in a competitive athletic arena, while reaching our community for Christ.

Statement of Belief

At FBA, we believe through our athletic program, our coaches will have the opportunity to mold the character, body, intellect, and spirit of our student-athletes; while also teaching them to love the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength.

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 
• Coaching and athletic experience a must. 
• A working knowledge of the sport. 
• Teaches and coaches the fundamentals of the sport, good sportsmanship, leadership, respect for teachers and adults, fair play, the importance of academics, and relate to and inspire confidence in students. 
• Exhibit communication, verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal skills. 

• To coach, monitor, and maintain a successful baseball program for the school. 

• Paid stipend for season.
