Our faculty operates under the assumption that every student will graduate from FBA and attend college.
The process of preparing a student for success at the college level begins in the preschool. We are committed to excellence at every level of our PreK 3-12 grades. All grades are fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the COGNIA.
First Baptist Academy is a college preparatory school. The academic classes, at all levels, are designed to provide each student with the content and mental challenge needed for consistent academic growth.
Nationally recognized achievement tests are administered to our students annually as well as periodic assessment of each students school ability index. This information provides the school with an accurate picture of where each student is academically and also provides a template for the current school year. The results from these tests are reviewed and analyzed by faculty and administration to insure academic progress.
The faculty also, by department, annually completes a State of the Subject report.
This report looks at the major subject areas (Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Bible as well as Related Arts) and identifies the progress, needs and goals for that subject for the current school year. FBA is committed to consistent improvement in all areas of academics on an annual basis.
In addition to our rigorous academics, students are also trained in Biblical worldview so they can articulate with clarity and conviction what they believe and why they believe it.

Serving the Community
Middle school students serve the community at The Pregnancy Resource Center, St. Matthew’s House, Florida Baptist Children’s Home, and Harbor Chase
Fine Arts
Middle school students have an opportunity to take Band, Strings or Choir, and participate in Public Performances including the annual drama performance.
Public Speaking
Middle School students are featured speakers in end of the year chapels. They make presentations in apologetics, biblical worldview, bioethical issues, and our American Heritage.
Conflict Resolution
Middle school students are trained in conflict resolution skills. Real, right relationships are the focus of middle school life.
