As a ministry of First Baptist Church of Naples, the staff of First Baptist Academy must meet the standards of employment that are required by the church whereby each employee must feel a “call” into this ministry work. In addition, as educators, we hire the most qualified and certified teachers who profess Christ as Savior and who are able to meet the standards of Good Character set forth by this ministry.

We are in search of teachers who are filled with deep love and concern for God’s children, and who want to become involved in their lives. First Baptist Academy is a Kingdom Education School
We are grateful to the Lord for His continued blessing upon the school ministry of First Baptist Church Naples. FBA is a discipleship school dedicated to preparing the next generation to serve in God’s Kingdom. For that very reason, it is important that you understand both the uniqueness and purpose of a Kingdom Education school.

Kingdom Education is defined as the life-long, Bible-based, Christ-centered process of leading a child into a new identity with Christ, developing a child according to his/her specific abilities given to him by Christ, so that a child would be empowered to live a life characterized by love, trust, and obedience to Christ. The ultimate goal of Kingdom Education is to develop a mature disciple of Jesus Christ whose life glorifies God.

A Kingdom Education school focuses on the reign of God through Jesus Christ in the life of a believer as evidenced by God working in, through and around the individual. The task of preparing the next generation to impact and transform culture requires a biblical worldview to be presented at home, at church, and at school.

Teacher Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of classroom teaching experience in Christian education preferred. Must possess ACSI Credentials.

All First Baptist Academy Faculty and Staff receive documented training annually of the FBA Code of Ethics.
